Photo taken on our hike in the park to the Lost Palms Oasis, and it was not warm, but hot!!!

Not far from my ranch! Love it out here, would live no where else! The photo is that of an Agave. With scenery like this, why live anywhere else? Beautiful photo!
I really miss that place, I was stationed in 29 Palms for a total of 6 years and I used to walk in that place everyday. Nice photo! :o)

You portrayed the desert excellently, I love the deserts.
I find deserts, any of them - high or low - to be a curiosity and filled with oddities. They have great sunrises and warm, rich sunsets, and the night sky is dotted with more stars than you can imagine. But I do not like the heat or the creatures found there. Nice view of Joshua Tree. You must have found one of the very few places without Joshua trees. I see them in all directions when I'm exploring the park. :-)
