Description
"We are not made for the mountains, for sunrises, or for the other beautiful attractions in life - those are simply intended to be moments of inspiration. We are made for the valley and the ordinary things of life and that is where we have to prove our stamina and strength."

Very dramatic... Friedrich paint like this. Big work my friend.
So very beautiful!!
Good shot!
Wondereful capture and atmosphere!!!
Beautiful lighting and composition. Gorgeous!
Truly a picture after my own heart Danny! I get to shoot some NW trees tomorrow woo woo :) As to the words, that is one of very few quotes I disagree with.. Inspiration yes, and to the "ordinary" explanation within that quote... I feel we can all experience beyond the ordinary. That quote, though somewhat accurate .. is not very inspiring. All the best Kurt
Like a lot Danny ! Marvelous light.
A most lovely image with those magic golden hues and thought provoking verse.
