Description

This is the Lament Configuration, a puzzle box central to the Hellraiser series of movies. I've wanted one to use in Poser for a few years now, but nobody made any that were fully poseable. So... I made one. My friend Godsbane and I worked hard to get this damn thing into poser. We had to make it a fully articulated new figure, with joints and morphs to be able to animate the various permutations most commonly used in the movies. Poser really is a pain to setup characters in. But we did it. It's not perfect, some of the verts were still welded after we applied all the morphs and set up the skeleton and so, we're leaving them. In still renders, they should be easy enough to fix up in post and for animation, it shouldn't be too noticeable. Now... Because this is a model based entirely on the creation of Clive Barker and not something we made up, we are not going to charge anything for it. And for the same reasons, you can't use this for commercial projects - hobbyists only! But we will be putting this in the freestuff section! When we've moved the folders around to make it more prettier and stuff. To see an animated render of this in Poser 5, we've uploaded it to YouTube at... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8RUCYweAf2g The animation is made to loop, but YouTube doesn't loop, so it's 4 seconds of fury that you'll probably want to play a few times. Especially because the video on YouTube is so dark! It's just draft quality (in the animation and the render above) but it still looks pretty good to me. So... Let us know what you think. Soon we'll be making our own Poser characters for sale (because we can't afford to buy anyone else's yet ;)). Stay tuned!
