Description
Here's another cover rough for a hypothetical spy spy novel starring Joleen's literary doppleganger AGENT 20QT, last seen in MY GUN IS CUTE. http://excalibur.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=1337985
The goal is to produce a faux Robert McGinnis, along the lines of the masterworks he created to illustrate the Travis McGee and Shell Scott paperbacks in the 60s and 70s.
I have a long way to go but I wanted to share the preliminary version (actually, the second prelim version). I had this image stuck in my head last night while I was running the Speedway on the midnight shift.
The photo is from the same photo session that tired Joleen out (see the previous two images). Joleen was actually wearing a bikini but what's the point of knowing basic photo manipulation if you can't virtually disrobe a subject?
In keeping with McGinnis' elegant "Good Girl" style, I elongated Joleen's legs by 50% to give her a chorus girl look.

very nice ,perfect body and great hair , thanks you two
My dear friend, well as much as I admire and respect your work and I absolutely love Joleen, let me say that your photoshop skills are soooooo bad!! I love the concept, your idea is great and you have every element you need to get this to be an awesome post (as well as fun) when cutting an object out of it's original photo, don't trust the magic wand, take the time to use the lazo, be patient and enjoy being in control of what stays and what goes, and in the case of Joleen it is certainly worth the effort. once you have cut her out of the original picture, using your bluring tool, go around her silhuette blurring just a few pixels around her shape (this blands her with the new background in a very real looking way) make sure you did cut out the space between her legs and the space between her blouse or jacket and her right thigh. You know I am a big fan of your art and I mean all this in the best and honest way.
chrisuribe --wow great advice I copy it and saved it: thanks ___ Beautiful image just the same ad a lot of magic!!!
PSA that we'll never hear -- "Friends Don't Let Friends PhotoShop When They're Sleep Deprived." Okay, I'm awake and I've cleared up some of the errors Chris noted. Gotta find a better gun before I go for the final version....
Excellent creation!!!
It's fun to see how this project progressed.
Beautiful image!
