Description
I was looking for a camera my son had in his room that can take [forgot the name, but it would look like a lot of photos put together to make one long shot but this is done in the camera] I could not find the camera and he forgot where it was in his room. I post some photos it made to show you later on.
I find this roll of film that my camera can use and it had expired in 2001. and the room was not heated or cool like the other rooms so it was in heat and cold of the seaons I shot the film just to see what would happen. Thinking the color would be off or some thing be wrong with the film. Here it is. All I did was scan the film[not the print] and resize the image and here it is.
These is normal size cypress trees here. I did not know the bird was there. He is out of focus just below the trees and in with the sticks lower left center of photo
thanks for looking and comments

fabulous shot of the swamp. I love the particular grouping of cyprus trees you chose and the algae (aka pond scum) is marvelous. So thick. Really great mood.
It a marvellous capture Jock, so the message is never take notice of a use by date! Beautiful trees, gorgeous colours and I love this light :-) A wonderful bird you have here too. Happy night and hugs. Di.

These trees remind me of the legs and feet of some large dinosaurs. As ways love to see your swamp pictures.
Fascinating photo! I envy you having access to such amazing places.
Jocko! thats almost like finding money $$$ in an old jacket lol, great photos you got lucky here ::: hugs ))
Pretty good result for film the far gone, those must pretty old cypress trees, looking at the size of the trunks compared to the bird ! Well done & ~Cheers~ :o)
Thats a lovely image Jocko:)
Well, it looks like the film held up well past its expiration date. That's amazing. Great POV, colors, composition and light and shadow display in this neat capture, Jock!
SUPERB !!
Very excellent !! Thanks!!
Nice group of hardwood. Alot of the old Antebellum homes in your area have Cypress frames. Cool shot with old film ;-)
Amazine! Turned out fantastic, Jocko!
LOL, shouldn't have read the comments, after reading "drag's" comment, all I see is a herd of dinosaurs standing in swamp water, LOL. Of course they are all so tall that all you got was the legs! You can tell they are humongous because that heron is so small! I don't know why they bother putting expiration dates on film, it really does keep a long, long time. I think it's to protect themselves against lawsuits.
FAscinating and amazing picture !!! Superb shot !!!
