Description

You would not believe how hard it was to take this picture. The lighting was sub-average (it was late afternoon and the forest is thick), and thus, I couldn't hold the camera steady enough to not blur the picture, and there was nothing to brace my arms on. This is in the middle of a little pool in the brook by my house...the pool is about 10 feet wide. so, I piled a bunch of rocks up, and made a "unipod" out of rocks for the camera. this pool isn't exactly shallow, by the way. so i finally made a platform that was sturdy enough to hold the camera, as well as flat enough so that it wouldn't tip or whatnot. Finally, I had to set the timer to take the shot, so that it wouldn't blur. this is the result. enjoi :-)

Sounds like work but you got this great shot. It really plays with my sense of depth, I am not sure where to look! :)
