Description

Rufus is the ferret. Lefty is the sock monkey... actually it's a toy, stuffed monkey (with a fake kevlar vest) stuffed in a sock. (Can you Stand it?) Feeding time today. I opened the drawer and this is what I found. These guys sleep like... stuffed monkeys, I guess. I shot about 6 images with flash and some without and he slept thru it all. Then I did my usual trick. Dipped my finger in his food and touched it to his tongue (which is hanging out but not visible from this angle). Eventually, the tongue starts to move and expect more food. At this point I can only imagine what tack their dreams take. Then suddenly the critter is awake and realizing it's not a dream and that food had better be handy! OK, guys. That's your saccharin fix for today... Enjoy; thanks for viewing. No PW except to resize. Rufus will be 7 on August 7th. Rather old for a ferret. Currently he is the reigning 'Ancient 1.' I believe he will be awarded a new title then: L' eminence gris Poupon

Fun shot for sure weesel. I had no idea his sleek & slender physique was attributed to calorie-free sweetener, go figure. Nice work once again buddy!!
