An infrared (with the Wratten 87 filter) photo of some lily leaves along a canal. At least I assume these plants are water lilies. There is something about this image that reminds me of an old photograph for some reason. Perhaps it is the toning -- and the stark contrast? I am not sure. Anyhow, I liked the effect and composition. Your thoughts and feedback are always welcome. ------

It looks like a negative. The water is quite eerie like this almost not there but you know it is.
It does look metallic, like a sculpture of sorts. Great contrast against the black background.

The contrast are striking, not only in tones, but in the contrast between the straight,strong wood with the sharp cut of the planks and the rounded delicate leaves. Stunning! Hugs, Suzanne
