Description
A Photo from the Hollow. There are two or three places in the creek that the dogs use as swimming holes. This is one, and I loved the way the reflections were dappled by the bugs on the water. The bugs are those "walk on water" bugs that look sort of like spiders, don't know what they are called, but they are everywhere where there is water.
Thank you all who stopped to look at the last post, Unremembered, and thanks to all that left comments, too. Your thoughts are always such fun to read, so interesting, and so funny, and quite often, right on the mark!

This is a nice space and your photo reflects the serenity of the place.
Very nice..remarkable shot..interesting presentation..love it..
Klasse reflection,super shot!!!!!!!
first i thought it would be rain, then i thought it would be your dogs, but now i know sandpiper making all the trouble in this image (my babelfish tells me that). alternatively i have water strider under offer. choose yourself! oh, nice work, by the way ;-)
Oh, I love this, Rita! I got lost for awhile in imagining the reflections of the trees. And the tiny concentric circles made by the bugs are oddly soothing. What ARE those things called anyway? I know the ones...but heck if I can conjure up a name for them. Hmmm...scratching head. Beautiful capture...and thanks to you for sharing peeks of the Hollow with us :)
This attracts me very much, such a harmonious composition, and the framing is perfect!

Very nice. Great composition and color with a good look at how shadows work with light as in reflections.
