Awesome scene!
This piece conducts a subtle, yet engaging dialog with the viewer! In the placement of the characters, so much is revealed: It has been a long journey and the rider rests the horse. Is the dog turning to urge them on or warn them? And what of the citadel in the distance? Is it their origin or their quest, or neither? One picture...a thousand words. Fine job!
