Description
Thanks for the comments on the previous image. To answer inkydigit's question, yes I did actually drive all the land material colours with function graphs (voronoi and perlin) but I will need to get back to the graphs to properly formulate the best ways of doing this. We need a colour gradient node. The hairy stuff was actually rendering artifacts due to extreme displacement settings but because of TG2's global illumination, artifacts like this can look quite effective.
In this image, voronoi was used in a graph to create a ground displacement but you can't see it so well at this resolution. the render was originally 2880x1200. I imagine it shouldn't be long before we are seeing Mojoworld style voronoi rocks all over hillsides.

Great moonscape does Terragen allow us to make moons (planets) with Geisers (as IO and such) and rings ?
Excellent image; evokes a wonderful sense of speed.
Choice! Nice use of contrasting colours. The black border frames it well. Do you ever print out your work?
Fantastic scifi render! like a lot the depth and the colours!
Beautiful render, good work !!
Excellent scene, added to my favs.
It looks Mojo-ish to me already... in fact I thought it was! I still think MJ is quicker at these kind of vistas though. I'll give it a *****
