Description
You never know what you will find while poring over stuff you've found in the musty attic of your hard drive.
This photo was captured sometime last year, very early in the morning, about .75 of a mile from my domicile.
I realize this falls within the purview of auntietk's vast bailiwick of the same species, so I hope she doesn't mind the intrusion.
Thanks for the visit!

Nice colors...nature is beautiful...isn't it? :-)
Iris blooms are so exotic and lovely -- you did a grand job capturing this one. Not musty at all...
This is a peacock iris. They are just lovely flowers with layers of color and shapes. You did a great job of shooting this one. Good crop and frame.
They are always beautiful. BJ
wonderful !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's a beautiful flower but IMHO your focus is a lil off or maybe it's just my 10 year old CRT monitor?
Very pretty shot!
kissmet: The focus is fine. Believe me, it's your 10-year old CRT monitor.
Lovely color combination on this delicate iris. Wonder what else hidden in your attic. Great shot and sharp too.
LOL it is most definately an iris and a lover-ly captured one, at that. Glad you did some rummaging in the ol attic. You never know what treasures you'll find there. -M :^)
this is super love the colors and sharpness
This iris is quite stunning, my friend! The colors are beautiful, and it's nicely lit, so we can see all the details. I realize I may have been over-doing it on the iris photos lately, but that only serves to make me tiresome, it does not give me any rights or priveleges, express or implied, to any genus, species or variety of flora!
Wonderful shot, beautiful colors and light!
wowww, what pretty flower today !!! Excellent my friend ! Good day and hugs :)
What a very pretty iris you have given us today Harry! Such lovely lighting. Bravo, my friend!! Eileen xx
Nice work!
