Description
Photography isn't my usual medium (I'm sure it shows)- but since we decided to take our 3yr old daughter to the zoo, I decided to take along the digital camera we bought a few months ago. I figured it was about time I learned how to use it a bit better. The Baton Rouge Zoo was disapointing - the animal enclosures we horrible. You have the fencing around the exhibit the animal is in, then there is a two foot gap and then waist high chainlink fence. It made it very difficult to get a decent picture of the caged animals.

very cool!!!
Beautiful shot-- great lighting and you've captured the colours very well indeed.
Very nice picture !
Great shot!
Great pic. Love the Big Guy, or Girl. :)
The background sucks, but the pose & coloring of the giraffe is excellent.
