Description

One track mind? Yes! And proud of it! Yet another iteration of Snape, with (yet again) a new morph I've made. This time I put more focus on the "hooked nose" bit. All without exaggerating it into a carricature. I've actually seen someone with a nose just like this one. And I gladly admit I stared at this guy (in the bus) with glee. I do have a weakness for prominent noses, and that one was a masterpiece. Oh and David, this isn't supposed to be Rickman. It's Snape. Canon, book-Snape. Just for the record ;o) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Snape is basically a very morphed Simon, with Wild Hair and the Merchant Robe from PoserWorld. Props used are a lot of Cartesius' stuff (book case and some of the books) as well as Ratracer's Alchemist lab. There are also some freebies mixed in. Sadly I do not remember who made what anymore. I think some of it is from Ghastley. If you spot anything you made, please let me know and I'll credit you properly! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Thanks for looking. Comments are always appreciated!

Love it! This could be a scene from any of the books, it's so in-canon. Your new Snape is delicious -- that nose is perfect and I am so envious of you having a live reference to model from. ;-)

Can't wait to see Snape next week and then read to see how he (and everything) turns out the week after. Can't it be those days already?

Great Scene! DO keep up the good work. DPH I've often wondered if Dumbledoor isn't stykled after the MaHaRal, i.e. Judah Loew ben Bezalel ("Judah Loew son of Bezalel", also written as Yehudah ben Bezalel Levai [or Loew], 1525 17 September 1609, the great 16th century Rabbi and Kabbalist, to whom ledgend assigns the creation of the Golem. Certainly in the first movie, he has been (See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Judah_Loew_ben_Bezalel). But if that is so, would that make Snape a variation of Shylock? DPH

Interesting theory, David. I read the article and you might be onto something there. Perhaps not totally literary, but JKR is well-know for taking bits and pieces from all sorts of myths and folklore, and occasionally historical persons and mix it all to fit her story. So why not? I doubt we'll see a real golem in the last book - but something approximated perhaps? Not sure Snape is Shylock, though it would explain a certain feature of his L

You could illustrate Harry Potter for Rowling, you have so many, each one a standalone. It's amazing. I feel like a I am watching a movie with him as the star. :) I love that bookshelf; love books. Very nice! :)
