I'd be proud too! What a fun way to display old license plates! :-) I once lived in the country on a winding road in the middle of nowhere. Kids would borrow "daddy's car" and look for places to "neck." They'd come around the turns near midnight too fast and the cars would end up on their side or roof in the big ditch next to the house. After the tow truck hauled off the car and Daddy hauled off the kid, we'd get up the next morning check the ditch and find hub caps. I had them hanging on ropes in the big tree beside the house and for entertainment on hot, sultry days, we'd sit out in lawn chairs with our wrist rockets and plunk marbles, old ball bearings or chunks of rock at them. Made a pretty cool mobile in that tree and gave us something to do. :-)

LOL... thanks for sharing this curiosity, I used to collect them when I was a child and hang them in my room until my mother threw them all away, he he he. Poor Mummy and crazy me ;O)

That must be a large tree because the license plates look like little credit cards hanging up there. I also like the sharp knifelike top of the tree. Sure wouldn't want to parachute down on that arboreal treasure. In any event, a fine an unusual composition.
