Another iris from Walsterway Iris Gardens in Maltby, Washington.

I am chuckling here............This is absolutely gorgeous! Last week, I took a pic and called it 'Party Dress', but I think it should actually be for the village 'Hop' in the local hall, as opposed to your exquisite gown, which is obviously on its way to a formal ball! Don't lose your glass slipper!

Hold the phone! Hold the phone! Are those two disparate leafs part of the same flower? The closest simile I can think of is the Canna African lily. In any event, a fine POV in this fabulous capture of the beautiful flower, with the swishing of the yellow party dress most apparent. I feel pity for the poor thistlelike pistil or stamen caught in the middle. Of the two leafs, I really dig the bottom one, with the magnificent textures of black on white. Snow atop a mountain of coal.
