Description
An image I recently completed for issue 20 of Imagine FX (out today I think), to accompany a tutorial on it's making. The style of the image is mean't to be in keeping with the work of Chris Moore - another of my favourite clasic sci-fi artists.
Vue Infinte 6 was used for the landscape, and Cinema was used for everything else, with Photoshop used to composite the 2 renders together.

Amazing! I love it. One thing though, the trees must be immense. Looking at the scale of the landing pads, which are closer to the camera, compared to the trees...but then again, I've never been there, so trees could very well be immense. :) Eddie

Excellent job... The Shadows on the ship are wrong for the scene,The Land scene the shadows are straight towards you but on the ship they are more to the right...? I love the Compo,But maybe use a few more Instances of Differnt Trre's and Bushes to give a more Realistic Forest look...Add more DEAD Foilage too.. Still you are thy one Making money and my opinions are just my own... Stunning work tho...
