Description
"Making your way in the world today Takes everything you've got Taking a break from all your worries Sure would help a lot Wouldn't you like to get away Sometimes you want to go Where everybody knows your name And they're always glad you came You want to be where you can see Our troubles are all the same You want to be where everybody knows your name..." ~ from Where Everybody Knows Your Name by Gary Portnoy and Judy Hart Angelo
Here is a selectively colored power which inspired me with the reflection of the mural in the bar's polished surface. I toned and grained the image on a new layer to give it a feel similar to an old photo and then went in and gradually erased some of that layer to reveal the original underneath, until I got what you see here. I'd like to dedicate this to two very active members of our community who joined us not to long ago but have already make a big impression here with their creative vision and friendly ways -- Janiss and Zorg1955. This photo may be of a subject matter they appreciate, don't you think? ;'P If you would like to see the original color version, click here: Bar Reflections. {---link Please view this full size ~ and have a great weekend! ------

WOW! this is beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Super photo with lots to look at at....but Fosters? Eeeerggg.
Oh Rats! No drink in years, and just my luck, the bar is closed when I need a drink. ;DDD I like the atmosphere in the scene. It certainly would discourage my sticking around for a drink. I'll wait till it's open and lively. Hugs, Suzanne
You've given this bar a very warm and friendly feel with your talent. Great lighting and pov. Wonderful postwork on it.
OMG... such marvelous reflections... I see good?... yes, bravo!
Superb!!!!!!! It's my favorite!
I still can't decide which I like best (Sel color, or full color) but your postwork on this is fantastic! I like the POV, reflections and lighting, together they create a wonderful atmosphere! I'm sure many people have seen a bar from this POV if they could only remember :)

Wonderful dedi for them. As I said in the forum, I prefer the color one...not because I don't like your postwork, ( it's extremely well done ), but because I like the colors in this one so much. It's such an interesting shot. Well done, BOTH ways, Kortalouche, and when the bar reopens, have an icy frozen 'Rita on me...with an extra shot of Cuervo and lotsssssssssssss of salt. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm! Have a great weekend, my friend!-M :^)

I love the mirrored reflection, fantastic light. So fascinating shot.
Both versions are great, but your post worked one I like the best, it gives the illusion of a late afternoon mood. Glad to see they stock Foster's beer ! ~Cheers~ mate !!!
Wonderful detail, lighting effects, and POV in this creation. Lots going on there. So, where are George Wendt, Lilith, Kelsey Grammar, John Ratzenberger, Shelly Long and the rest of the gang? Cheers!
Beautiful dedi. Aloha
You've done a wonderful job with this shot and image!!! and YES I can almost see Janiss and Zorg1955 dancing in this bar as one of Janiss' glowing reflections...implied and sparking! :o)b
