Description
"I will be the gladdest thing Under the sun! I will touch a hundred flowers And not pick one." ~ Edna St. Vincent Millay, "Afternoon on a Hill"
I didn't know what to post today. So when in doubt, post a flower. This is one sprouting from a Florida airplant (Epiphytes). I couldn't track down the specific species. HAPPY HUMP DAY! ------

I love tillandsias, I have one since 4 years ans he gave me 2 flowers during that time ! Great macro Kort !
such a delicate flower....
Looks like an orchid...Lovely one, Kortalouche. I like the soft dof in this. Happy humpday to you, too! -M :^)
Beautiful and impressive macro of a tillandsias !
A real pleasure to view. So lovely and peaceful colours! It has been ages I didn't read the expression "Happy hump day", he he.... the same to you, Kort ;O)
Sorry Kort for sounding negative but, I find the left 'petal' and right hand leaf to be more in focus here. Also, the stem in front distracts. Not your best by far.
Beautiful dainty flower ! I even like the little blur here, creating some romantic touch...
Lovely composition, detail, texture and colour!
beautiful colours and dof!
Fantastic macro, such marvelous tints!
I love great flower shots.
A lovely image! Wonderfully done!
I really love the soft colors here. A delight to view!
wonderful looking
stunning flower
Although I never heard of the flower, a lovely soft focus and blending of mauve and white in this macro.
We have these tropical marvels as well, in the sub-tropics where I live. Nice porcelain look and soft hues, very delicate ! Bloomin' beautiful...~Cheers~
Lovely - the colors and the light are so pretty and delicate!
Wowwwwww ! gorgeous Mr K :o)
wow, cooool macro!!!!
It is a lovely flower with great shape and colors. The compositiona and light are pleasing but I have to agree with "Nameless Wildness" about the stem in front and the spotty focus. Thanks for sharing. Lee
Nice, soft, delicate! I like it for my sleepy time. (it's 12:02am ):o)b
