Description
This is a rootstock rose from Ann's garden. The grafted variety, whatever it was, died off years ago, leaving the original rootstock, which is healthy and blooming. Ann has this growing on a trellis on the side of the house.

absolutely lovely, and so open-hearted...........its colours are so striking against the dark leaves.......
very sweet and love the colors too
You never disappoint, this is beautiful with great detail and beautiful colors!!!!!!!!
Maybe natural is better, eh? This has so much depth of color, and the leaves look so healthy and dark green. Well shot, Tara.
Lovely. I have one that is doing that - the original root is a red climber though.
Very nice Tara....I can almost smell it....very well done.

Superb flower capture. Love the colors. Excellent. Aloha
OHH I love it, I love it indeed. Such a gorgeous shot, Tara. Reminds me of one little rose I took a shot at, the other day. Not so wonderful as this, not double, but a simple little dog rose. It will come some day here at RR too. :))) 5*

Oooh beautiful, you can almost feel those soft petals
Wonderful POV, clarity and contrast, and lovely blending of gold, mauve and white colors on this exquisite rose, whether rootstock or red climber! I believe I may have the same variety in my vast reservoir of rose photos, which I will release to the public sometime in the future.
How lovely !!!! being a rose grower myself, guess I'm partial :o) ~ Hugs ~
