Description
Beggar's Canyon: Luke Skywalker and his buddies of the Rogue Squadron on their way for some precision flying and target practice. The Womp Rats will need to be fast and furtive today.
T-16 Trainer (Skyhopper) modelled in Lightwave 3D, imported into and rendered in Vue 5 Infinite
Model can be (and has been frequently) downloaded from my website. Some retexturing is recommended if you use it in Vue.

Excellent work!!!
Very well done my friend5+!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! richard
Nice! Too bad the only appearance the T16 makes is the toy Luke idly plays with in an early scene.
Awesome. Terrific perspective. Very dramatic.
Excellent, I made a R2 last night its fun to experiment with textures, not really good but I will be posting it as I promised my little boys, thanks so much for him. Angela
A fantastic SF scenery with a real marvellous set POV! Wonderfully done!!!
Superb composition..love the terrrain/mountain and your fantastic sky! Stunning work ..Bravo :)
Truth be told, I know very little about Vue, and am just feeling my way around. I get into it, from time to time, and learn and relearn, when I do. Actually, it is pretty easy to get something decent set up, although, there are people here on Rendo who can design rings around me. Real masters of the software. Here and there I get lucky.
Like you said, the Womp Rats better shot through real quick, nothing like a few photon torpedoes to bring down the canyon walls ! Kool sci-fi action, well done ! ~Cheers~ :o)
Gorgeous POV and sci-fi mood!!!!!!!!
all hale the tatoin expert rofl
looks great!!!! love the models and you have created a marvelous setting for them!
Man the perspective and lighting for this beauty is breath taking what an amazing image!!
Fantastic Image,Great Job
Love the POV and awesome lighting. Excellent...
Great wing of skyhoppers and I love the Jawa-eye view here. Well done!
Great image. What version of Vue do you use? Does it support motion blur? I think it could further enhance the image. I would also expect a bit more contrast in the shadows for so strong sun just-in-the-lens. Together, it
s a great, moody render. I have Vue 3 and its not easy to get so good output with it! Another very nice fact is that the model can be d/loaded-and that it is made with my favorite program. PS. Thx for your helpful comment how to prepare tea ;) I think just the infusion time was not long enough, though adding these worms could help-if these objects were not meant to be made free stuff ;)In case anyone wondered what that was all about. Silgrin was looking for a metal texture, and I recelled that the 'Worm of Art" have some great tutorials out there of how to make excellent metal textures (or you can buy their LW presets directly) http://www.the-worms-of-art.com/ By the way, the shadow thing he mentioned did not take into consideration a) two suns, and b) all the reflection from that massive amount of sunlight from the bright desert. That's a great 'fill light'.
