Description
Tubone, Captain of the City Watch, oversees the daily opening of the West Gate, prior to the usual influx of merchants and market-goers. The West Gate, essentially the tradesmans entrance to the city of Inthan, is a small affair compared to the more grandiose main entrance at the North Gate.
This is one of the first pics I made using a MakeHuman figure and trueSpace 6.6. It was also an experiment in using Vue to make displacement terrains - the stone walls - and importing them into tS. Of course later versions of tS have full displacement mapping so the step with Vue is no longer necessary.
I'm not sure why I never posted it here before but ... well, it's here now! I hope you enjoy it and feel moved to leave me a comment or two. I don't always respond to comments but I do appreciate them all.
