I found this little grouping of wildflowers late today and really wanted to get a good shot of them because the composition was so nice.
Unfortunately by the time I had found them, it was going on 6 pm and the skies had become quite overcast so there was not much light to work with.
I took almost 50 pics and was having a very
difficult time in finding and maintaining a sharp focus distance. My little Nikon does not perform well in low light and I did not have my tripod to help me steady my shots (I rarely use it.
After looking at the downloaded results, I found just a couple that I felt were usable. This is one of them. Unfortunately, it had an awful lot of noise in it. After trying this and that with editing options, I decided to quit fighting a losing battle and instead of trying to eliminate the noise attempted to work with it, lol. After some texturing and layering and various other manipulative things, I came up with this image which I am more than a little pleased with.
It probably doesn't look at all like a silkscreen
painting, but that is the image that came to mind as I studied the end result.
The full size is larger than usual but if you were ever going to click on a full size image, I suggest this one as the one to click, lol. The textures are interesting.
Thanks to those who take the time to comment

Really like your postwork here. Isn't a good feeling when you can take an image that's bordering on being a "lemon" and produce some great tasting lemonade? I've done that more than a few times myself. Not sure what you started with, but the end results speak for themselves.
wow, yes what a beauty, wonderful textures
Well I love the texturing and find this almost like an oil painting on canvass and having made plenty of web set graphics previously using textures for the background etc., I have to say that I would have been more than happy if I could have ended up with such a result - I think this is beautiful. The photography is extremely well composed, the colours are gorgeous and the presentation is superb. xx
Love the textures.
Dispite all your troubles it seems you have something usefull after all. The composition is very nice. Thank you for sharing. egmont
Lovely presentation for a lovely image.
The end result is phenomenal! Your postwork choices were just perfect. This couldn't be better. Awesome work! (And you're right - full view is quite stunning.) Congratulations on a great job!
Absolutely gorgeous. Love the way the darks blend into the yellow and love the overhang on the frame! Very cool textures.
Fantastic !!!!
Very Beautiful image!!!
It does look like a silk print and I can see that you did a great job with postwork. This is a gorgeous result and I understand why you would be very pleased with it. Great shot, great postwork and great presentation.
Wondrful framed and lovely texture and colours here. Hugs
The dark background serves to accentuate the foreground colors. Very well done!
