Ah, a Bugs Life, that's why we call it being Bugged!!!! Cool Shot!!!!
Wonderful macro shot- impressive detail! I too have the Rebel XTi and just ordered my first macro lens today (canon 100mm f1.8 USM)- your shot gives me great inspiration and anticipation for its arrival, and the wonderful world of macro photography!
Superbly done!!
Superb Macro!

There is so much to see in the bug world. The trade of hue with reflection is magical.

How do you get sooooo close!!??? These guys are skittish. Wow, amazing!
Certainly not when he is as beautiful as this. Amazing shot.
Oh my gosh! This IS a dragonfly! I just saw the wings! I can't even get close enough to get something that's barely a macro, let alone close enough to get something like this! What's your secret? Super glue on a leaf?
Nice work...!!!!
Wow! Richard! A fine dedication with a lot of close detail well shot :) Cathy xoxoxo
Up close and personal with our little friends this is a terrific tribute how cool work!!
Amazing work as usual Richard.
Wow, now THIS is some closeup! Cool shot!
Excellent close up. This appears to be a dragonfly, one of my favourite insects. Not just because they are beautiful but because they hunt mosquitoes. Very important.
A scary critter when seen so close up! An excellent macro and I really enjoy your title too...hehee :-)
I have never seen anything like this! Just BEYOND WOW!!! (and thank you for commenting on my Nicki cat! :)
An amazing photo :) Love the depth effects you've used too! WONDERFUL!!!
What a frightening and superb sight at the same time ! A great snap altogether, really!...There's no such insects in Iceland though ;-)
