Description
I did this painting with Prisma colored pencils and white acrylic paint. I couldn't get the pencils to do a bright enough white. It is 16" X 20" on mat board.

Well done!
Wonderful!! Perfect!!
nice tonal work, surprised you can get such intense darks with the media. Fur and snow textures are excellent. ...Di (Hexagonal Mandala)
Thanks, Atreju, Juca and Hexagon. I appreciate the comments over this colored pencil painting. I tried some other colored pencils that are oil based along with the Prisma, which are waxed base, and I think they helped with the darker colors. Hugs, Lorraine
One way to get that bright white you were looking for is to start with a very white ground, ( leaving the white in your pic blank )....or use a very very dark one and then the white pencil will pop. But your solution worked out really well. Lovely work, here.
You know my thoughts about your work,"its great" and once again you have kept up the standard!
Nice piece of work!
