Description
Glacier Bay national park is the size of Connecticut, but it's not accessible by road. West of Juneau, it's unimaginably magnificent and huge. The park is best seen from the sea, and I can personally recommend doing so from a cruise ship, rather than a kayak.
It's hard to get the feeling across in a thousand pixels' width, but here ya go.

wow..beautiful place
even the pixels are alaska-size, eh? always wanted to go there on a nice day. bet you have at least one panorama to stitch,
Wonderful land with the mountains, and the perfect reflection on water, magic place to staying with a long time...^__^ excellent shot
I believe you caught some of it's magnificent pretty darn well. :)
I have the same problem with shots of Lake Tahoe. Cannot get the whole thing in one shot, and give the impression of the size at the same time. I can imagine it, though, and this lake a lot bigger the Tahoe. Excellent shot, and it is magnificent!
Wow. Love the scope of this and the way you composed it. Gorgeous capture...
