Awesome work!
Nicely done!
Excellent model!
Awesome detail and render!!
This is stolen from: http://www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho/ !!!!!!!!
those are some serious accusations!!!! i've been to the bbc dr who website several times & haven't really seen the exact same pic on there, so if u could prove your allegations!!!? if u can't proove that u better shut up & think again before saying things like this... anyone has other thoughts??
HeRe: Just because someone made a model from a TV show doesn't mean the image is stolen. It's not. The gallery on the website ( http://www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho/gallery/tardis/index.shtml ) doesn't show the same image. Please think twice before calling people a fraude. Really nice image btw, I love the blue texture and the glow on the windows is great. My compliments!
Thanks for the comments guys, and as for it being stolen from the BBC website I will take it as a back handed compliment.I will happily post a render of the mesh if reqiured.
Theft? no, copyright infringement maybe, but that too is doubtfull. Who owns copyright on a police call box, certainly not the BBC. Maybe the govt of England? I highly doubt anyone is going to come after you Mark. Nice call box. Now if you call it a Tardis and insert it into a story about a doctor who travels through time then perhaps the BBC might come calling for their pound of flesh.
Excellent TARDIS. HeRe is obviously jealous as they've never done a picture in their life if you look at their gallery contributions.
This looks as good as the one I made some time ago. The BBC and others own the copyright not to the police box but to the name 'Tardis'. When I converted my model for free use in Poser I asked the BBC if I could include the name Tardis and they said no.
