Happy Memorial Day 2007 to you too
beautiful work. you timed it right with the clouds
That is beautiful and taken at the best time, with the flag in shadow. Very symbolic and touching, Kort. Hugs, Suzanne
It's a grand old flag, it's a high flying flag..... Beautiful mood capture of the flag contrasted against the Florida sky. Am I mistaken, or are those two separate flags on the same pole? And, please visit my upload for Memorial Day.
It's seems to me that there are some states missing...oh right, a bit windy eh Kort ? I didn't notice the furled flag straight away ! anyhow the evening tones make the contrasts of the flag and palms really stand out, fine capture and neat border effect ! ~Cheers~ :o)
A lovely memorial day picture. Lest we forget.
Very nice
Nice capture of this flag!
Well done, Kort. The perfect image for today. A salute to all the vets, especially those who gave "the last full measure."
A day in which we should remember all the fallen, regardless of nationality as war does not settle much of anything, other than a lot of empty places at the table and many broken and sad hearts. Will we ever learn? Thank you Kort for a wonderful tribute to your country men. Thank you for sharing. egmont
our Rememberence Day is November 11th..we pause for a minutes silence at 11am...it is the only time at my busy place of work that it stands still..lovely shot
