"There is no emotion; there is peace. There is no ignorance; there is knowledge. There is no passion; there is serenity. There is no death; there is the Force" ~ The Jedi Code
Here is a photomanipulation I put together for my son Connor. He's become a big Star Wars fan and constantly asks me questions about the franchise. He wants become a jedi and is having me "teach" him the way of the Force. ;') This is all good fun for me because I am a longtime fan as well. I am also posting this today because May 25 is the fan holiday Universal Day of the Jedi(link). It is also the 30th Anniversary of the first Star Wars movie. So for all you fans out there, be sure to tell everyone, "May the Force be with you" today. ------

"Hokey religions and ancient weapons are no match for a good blaster at your side, kid." Han Solo, in Episode IV: A New Hope The force is definitely strong with this one; excellent photo and postwork, Kort! Happy Jedi Day!
Looks like a promotional poster, very neat postwork FX, especially the green and red glow ! This could also be an ad for a futuristic Kung Foo school ! ~Cheers~ :o)
Ready for combat, the young jedi is. Proud of his accomplishments, yoda would be. Of the young master Conner a very nice portrait. To you master Kort a great weekend. Aloha~. Hmmmmmmmm, yes!
Now that is indeed a handsome boy and also very cool :))) Brilliant work.
Looks like you're well protected!!!! Excellent creativity Kort!!!!!
It is hard to believe but thirty years have come and past when I stood in line to see the movie, when it seems like only yesterday and here with your photograph of your son, a new generation is taking over and carrying on the magic. Thank you for sharing. egmont
Seamlessly done Sir! The young padawan looks weel ready for the fight! may the force be with you both! BJ
nice one, great angle and pose for the manipulation which is really well done too - loving the glow :) The hair thing looks like a roll of film! ;P I know they are adult-sized weapons but isnt the "solid" part of a light sabre a lot smaller than that? or is that part of the artistic licence toy manufacturers take? bigger is better and all that...
may the force be with him, xcellent indeed
Fantastic... I love too, genious!
May the Force be with you both Kort! Very nice work and as a long time fan I as well I appreciate it!
Good gift to the son, your work! I think the son will estimate it!

I bet he loves this portrait - really well done. It's funny how today's kids keep getting into this 20+ year old classic. Nice!
