Description
I saved the best waterfall from the Oneonta Gorge hike for Chrissy's birthday. Happy Birthday, Chrissy!
And in a shameless attempt to get a few more views on an old upload, compare it with this one from winter of 2003. Not quite the same POV, but you'll figure it out. That day was so cold and windy I had trouble being outside the car long enough to grab a few shots.
Thanks for stopping by and any comments.

BTW, this isn't really crooked; it was windy, as it usually is in the Columbia Gorge, and the falls was being blown sideways.
its beautiful...wonderful shot!
Awesome shot!!!!
Oh Dennis, This is beautiful and certainly is the best. I am so humbled that you have thought of me today and I shall treasure this one indeed. I am lost for words and can't stop smiling right now - what a way to wake up on your birthday!!! Thank you so much once again. Big Hugs. xx Chrissy xx
Beautiful falls and dedi. Happy Birthday Chrissy.. Aloha
Beautiful shot - it's Oregon's most popular tourist attraction for a reason! Happy Birthday, Chrissy! :)
:-) I like your follow up comment on the slant of the water. I had already decided it had to be the wind because the trees and upper horizon were so nicely straight. Wow! That had to be one heck of a breeze! Very nice shot and the foliage is as lovely as the waterfall.
I love the way you outlined it with the beautiful green trees.
Gorgeous and Happy Birthday Chrissy.
It is a wonderful capture!! Love the greens and rocks.. not to mention your beautiful fall!! Thank you for braving the cold and the wind to get it. Such a lovely gift to Chrissy. Happy Birthday dear Chrissy :-) Diane.
Spectacular... love it !
