Description
I just uploaded this into the Bryce Contest."Old Stuff"
I've wanted to do a derelict spacecraft for some time. This contest just gave me the reason to make one.
This image also falls under the category of not being happy with it. Lighting is a big thing for me right now. This picture went through ten different lighting changes. Yet, I'm still not happy.
The other thing is the scale. I wanted to make it seem as though the ship was big. I mean BIG! I also liked the idea that the spaceship is massive and the cliffside should dwarf it. I'm not sure I conveyed that in this piece.
This image is still very much a work in progress.
Comments and insight greatly welcomed.

ich arbeite auch manchmal mit Bryce..deshalb verehre ich alle, die mit Bryce solche erstklassigen und realistischen Bilder erstellen !! 5 honest Points !!
Impressiv work!
You have me gasping for more. This really needs a pull-back. Want to see the rest of it......now...NOW!!!!!!!!!!
Great work :)
Great massive scene!
I think you are well on your way to achieving the goals you set for this image. I also had to struggle with lighting as I was learning 3D CGI.
Excellent materials in this - certainly looks like an old and rusting hulk that has crash-landed thousands of years ago! Perhaps something in the forground to show the scale of the ship, and like you said, decrease the size of the cliff? Well done indeed!
It is a very good and excellent work of art!
