Description
Bronze greek sculptures from the classic age that have survived can be counted on the fingers of your hands. This had been found about a century ago, but was so badly damaged it never was exposed to the public. Now it's been adequately restored, it's a glimpse into the far past ...

Una escultura ecuestre impresionante....!!! Me agrada el muy buen punto de vista que tiene y el color del material con que estrealizado el trabajo, -aparenta ser bronce u otro material dorado-...!!! Excelente shot Marco....!!!
beautiful horse ...shame things like our pasts get destroyed and forgotten..
very nice and the pov is good. I love the walls around it too. Lots to see here.
So beautiful sculpture of horse ! :)
The style is unmistakable, I recognised it immediately. A Magnificent art treasure unparalleled in the modern day, it is matched only by the one in Athens which has the small boy as a rider. Perhaps this one did too, much is missing from the saddle area. Thanks for sharing this reminder of classic art at its best.
Excellent work!
