Okay - here's the last rhody for today. Feel free to make comments on any or all of them! I've been asked to at least give this format a shot.
As usual, I can't tell you which one I like best. All of them have something interesting to recommend them!

What a great idea, coupling this wonderful series with music. I can hear the symphony! How to choose? This one is beautiful colors, the first one is unusual in shape, but my favorite is Etude, with it's fragility and color change and swirl of bud!
All 3 are beautiful but I favor this color a little more. Excellent shots. Aloha
The first one looks very much like one my husband gave me last year. I just yesterday took pictures of it.. You took a wonderful shot of that. Lovely colors. The white is also gorgeous. And funny to se how the bud is pink :) The last one here looks almost like an orchid. It is just as beautiful. I am happy that I am not forced to shoose between them, because they are so gorgeous all 3. You are a great photographer. :)
I like the last shot best....Sonata...does that word mean something...I see your having fun with your birthday present.
I vote for the way you've presented this trio, with comments reserved only for the last photo. Saves a lot of brain power, typing and time. And, contrary to my previous comments, I have seen and do have some photos of this lovely species. That said, photo No.3 is my favorite/favourite among these beautiful captures. Love the lighting, POV in this compo, and the textures at the base of the flowers. Way to go, T! Incidentally, I had to refer to my music dictionary to interpret the titles.
They are all beautiful , but this one draws my eye more. Love the pink with the deeper freckles.
These are by for the most interesting but all three are wonderful shots, each offering something a bit different. Very soothing shots.

I vote for Etude - the capture of the texture of the petals is outstanding.

This one is my favorite. I like the interesting patterns in the flowers and the composition (big flowers on the left getting smaller and more crowded to right). Beautiful!

Amongst my favourite blooms on Trees or shrubs.. I love them, and fortunately in my homeland they grow like weeds!
