Description
Some items collected over the years. Kuchi jewellry. Some of these had bits of cloth still attached to them. They make an interesting display.
Many were damaged or had 'jewels' missing or replaced by really tacky plastic beads. We spent quite a bit of time rebuilding damaged 'dangles' salvaged from other pieces too far gone to really be of use except as spares. Placing the modern, mirrored jewels was tricky. The original 'epoxy' is beeswax which has to be dug out and then the space built up or the replacement sits 'in a hole.' As many original parts as possible were preserved and used or stored in parts bins for later duty.
Enjoy; thanks for viewing.
Full-size is best.

Very interesting! And yes, I did see it full size, and it was best. ;o)
Beautiful :)
interesting display.. i am glad you were able to salvage it... means that much more to you after all that work, doesn't it?
Forgot to mention. The reddish tinge is from my universal 'thumb' filter. The unmuted flash was too harsh, so I held my thumb about 1 inch in front of the flash. Toned down the red a bit more via PW. Usually I use a white shipping label (got scads of them) over the flash or some other white paper. Softens the flash ever so nicely!
Excellent shot, beautiful light and colors. Fantastic details too!!
Interesting photo, and life of these subjects. An origin
