Description
Where I live now is, rich in Native American history,
As I wandered around this area, I thought about the ancient granite and pondered what the rocks has seen before. This was shot at a local spot called Oxbow Falls..Not much water flows there today. However it is 175 feet tall.. Next mission is to find a way to get to the bottom of the falls..

I used to wander the Mound Builders sites as a child and it was always a special feeling to be in a place so full of early history in this country. Back then it was not unusual to find arrowheads and hide scrapers laying about. This is a fabulous shot and full of feeling.
ancestral lands always have a power.... nice shot!
Beautiful sepia tone, I like the long shot, great crop :-)

Beautiful and moody forest, nice colors.
Wonderful tones and feel to this shot with lovely light and shadow to emphasise the textures on the rocks. Be careful on your way down! Great capture. xx
