Yet another photo from my vacation. One morning we woke up to a dew covered lawn outside the inn and I found water drops like little gems on this leaf. I ran back to our room to get the camera and snapped off a few shots. I have such a patient wife... ;') -----

A wonderful macro shot! Interesting to see how this leaf holds between the two wooden boards! Even more fascinating is how the water drops stick on the leaf! Is it a wooden wall or a wooden floor! A fabulous morning capture!!!

This fascinates me so. First, I thought about connecting the dots (of dew). Then, I noticed that there were no dots on the wood, only the leaf. What is this? The wood is porous, the leaf is not? Well, dew tell! Superb texture, lighting, colors and utterly sharp detail in this magnificent composition, especially of the lovely water drops running down the leaf, all in a row, like needle marks on a heroin addict's arm.
