Description
Sitting in chairs
All in a row
Like ducks at a shooting gallery
Each one of us hoping
It will all be over soon
You hear a child
Screaming in the background
With such pain
And horror
In her little voice
For what seems like forever
You wonder
What could cause such pain
For such a little dove like her
I hope and pray
That I never have to go back
To the laundry mat

Beautifull words, comgatulations and tanks.
You can probably figure out that I went to the laundry mat the other day instead of bringing my dirty cloths home. I swear to you that one minute after I got my cloths good and wet in the washing machine this little girl started just screaming and she didn't stop until a hour and a half later when I left. lol. I hope everyone likes it. Vaggabondd
I bet your head was shaking when you left thanks for the smile nice work
Now that's an experience I haven't had in many, many years, but your poem brought it all rushing back like it was just yesterday! Aaahhhhhhhh!!!! Even without the screaming child it's an experience I wouldn't want to repeat any time soon. For me, it's the chairs . . . . . .
Really cute poem!!!
So beautiful, as always my poet friend :)
A slice of life liberally garnished with such realism! BJ
Oh, what an memories you have brought up. Thanks for the smile.
