Description
One more from the botanical garden. Again, I have no idea what this is, and I can't find it on the web. But it reminds me of a bottle brush, so that's what I'm calling it. :-) The garden was full of such colorful plants.

I have no clue. Whatever it is, it sure is beautiful! I love the color, and the way the light interacts with the blossom. Fabulous shot!

Excellent! Perfect focus and composition!!!
Works for me. LOL. It is beautiful.
It might be from a different plant but the closest I could come up with is Rouge Puffs from the brownea tree. Beautiful capture. Aloha
Gorgeous!!! Thanks for sharing.
The color in this is stunning. It reminds me of a fiber optic lamp.
Beautiful colour - well done!
Errol figured it out for us. Mahalo, buddy. "Frequently orange-red brownea blossoms, also called rouge puffs, burst out of their buds on the naked trunk of the brownea tree. Lucky is the visitor to spy this extraordinary blossom, which resembles a huge orange powder puff." http://www.htbg.com/index.php?page=tour5
