Description
This photo was taken 6 days ago, I checked today again, they are all gone, the flowers have been cut-off, just to get better bulbs, and new ones, next year.
Tulips near Lisse, the Netherlands.
Have a very nice and sunny weekend

What a beautiful shot. I love the sea of red and the ONE white one for interest! Great catch, especially since you were there just days before they were all gone.
beautiful ! typically "hollands" ! zeer mooi !
I've always favored the odd-man-out. Love this proof that being different can be a beautiful thing. :-)
Beautiful, Henk. There's one in every crowd, isn't there? I just checked the tulip farm near me. Their web site says they'll be topping starting Monday, so this is our last weekend. Too bad it's raining and cool.
Henk, you know what : I made almost the same picture, in Noordwijk-aan-zee Wednesday evening...(it is still on my card in the camera... funny cocidence !) yours is amazing and perfectly composed !
Would love to see a sea of tulips like this in real life one day (boy that was a bit of a tongue twister, lol. Beautiful!
Just goes to show you were at the right time in the right place to get such a beautiful shot. Well done! :)
That white tulip stands out like a Albino. Excellent find. Aloha
Excellent work!
