Description
As I Orbit above a planet in a strange solar system, I ponder how I got there? What? where am I? is this real? I find myself standing in space looking down some ware I have never been deep in my mind while I am asleep dreaming this dream with you.
This is done in TGD2 and it is part of work in progress/experiment for a competition challenge that is upcoming at the end of the month on the Terragen website. My entry will look nothing like this when entered /smiles but does show the power of Terragen 2 does it not?? /winks.

All i can say is wow. looks fantastic. gorgeous work......very realistic. Excellent.
Excellent composition!!!
Good luck on the contest! Hint: you can add vertical 3D relief on the far planet by increasing the fractal detail + displacement.
Hay Rich2, yup I was thinking of doing that as well and maybe trying to add some crater shaders to it also. As I said, now I get down to the real comp /smiles...Good luck as well, the compitition is very heavy with incredible artists in these contests these days /smiles and I love it. Wow do I love your craft my man /bows.... DT
Oh yes, so beautiful and very nice color !! Good day :)
Very alien! nice one!
I'm getting that grainy water effect too. I wonder if reducing the detail in the water shader might help? At least it should speed up these, "Oh my God," slow renders. Have you noticed a tendency for your planet to turn purple when you use water at high resolution? I've had beautiful shots set up in 640x480, that turn purple when I render the same view in 800x600.
