Description
My friend E is very patient and understands why I wanted to take this picture, since he's an artist himself.
I had envisioned this as being sort of abstract with interesting light and shadow, and am quite happy with the way it turned out!

Great shot...but it makes me cringe to look at it :)
Um, ok...here's how it is. At first glance I thought...ewww, what appendage is THIS!!! Then I see that it is an ear and I calm down..whew. Then I want to straighten all the earings because they have spun out of alignment. Visually, this is an amazing photo and I see why you wanted to take it. I just had to get past my own phobias to enjoy it, lol.

My Gawd! Took a few minutes and some help from a friend to figure this subject out. I'm surprised the Renderosity police didn't drop you a message asking what the heck it was! Amazing macro, subject & composition. Well done!

I saw rings and immediately thought of other bodily parts of a pinkish hue, before realizing this is an ear. Shows where my mind wanders at times...well...most times. I can't believe I missed this when I originally posted. Where was I? Oh, wait, April 3rd, 2007...I suspect Pavl was involved with where ever I was. Anyway...WOW. This is great and I love the title.
