Description
It's a flaming forest!
Sorry, I couldn't help it.
On a more serious note, I've been making an effort to try and produce realistic-looking brush, trees, and shrubs in apo. I'm having a blast, and also seeing what I can do about some scripts (which in all honesty isn't much - plant life seems to flourish more with tweaking rather than button clicking).
This image is a combination of some of the stuff I've "found" - mostly by tweaking and getting lucky with the mutation window. Everything was put together in photoshop, then I used a flood filter to get rid of the ickyness resulting at the bottom edges of the composition.
If anyone has any tips for creating plants let me know - they make fantastic backgrounds!

Beautiful fractal forest, Liz!!! Really splendid view!!!
Very beautiful scene Liz gorgeous design love the water too
I have a few nice pine trees I could spare :).
Quite beautiful indeed. Great use of flood also.
wow..very imaginative and beautiful ! great depth due to the water
This is absolutely incredible--I have always admired your work- but this goes beyond any expectations- this came out of apo- Fantastic!-- superior work- excellent!!!
Lovely place you've created here! Fantastic work! (:
I would say you are on the right track. At this point, as far as I can tell, you are probably the apo plant master and therefore unable to obtain useful advise from others. Saddening as that news may be, it's still good to know that you rule.
Very lovely. Excellent image and composition. Nope on the suggestions... you are still the queen of the scripts and the plants in Apo. Bunny
i think i have no tips for you, but you aren't in need of it - you've done well!
Fantastic idea...The image is fantastic, interesting and inspirational! Outstanding beauty. I love it. :)
A wonderful composition.
This is a fabulous forest, you've really worked hard to find these and I like the colouring you have used. The pink one is a whole tree.
The idea and the realisation is fantastic! No tips, no grips for scripts!!
Very beautiful.
