This is so close to my thoughts yesterday. It is my favorite time of day...nighttime. And yesterday I was listening to "The Magic of the Night" from The Phantom of the Opera, reflecting on how special, magical, and mysterious the night is. You have captured that beautifully in your painting. The moonlight appears to shine through the trees and cast a reflection on water. Magnificent tonal work, Waheed. I hear the music of the night in your painting. Hugs, x:)

I think this is just stunning! The shadow play and textured stokes add to the shadow and light effect. Is that a bird I see? This is a wonderful work!

thanks a lot bunny and jillianelf...:). so glad u like it. no jillian, i didnt put any bird in there, might be some strokes creating that impression and that happens all the time...:). cheers all.
