Description
I was looking at this and I know shadows will run paralls to each other. with nature. I got to look at shadows more. Here you see one is bent toward me. Is it just me or my camera len is off[ you know defected] or is the law of paralles[ for depths of pictures] is in play here???

the one tree is leaning to the right causing the shadow to be different. excellent capture of the swamp and the Cypress? trees
Wow..I'm the first..it looks like spring in this photo! Great lighting and reflection..Excellent capture :)
that is very pretty!!!:)
This Capture Worked Out Well....Excellent!
Really cool capture of this stark vista, Jocko! Love the silhouetting! And, your camera lens is not off, it's just a matter of perspective. You'll notice that aberration of cast shadows when manipulating your light source while doing your Bryce creations.
do not walk on the brown; it just brown-red plant life on top of water
{@}~Hello my dear friend, Absolutely fantastic!.Wonderful Photography Superbly done!! Congratulations !! and... A million stars from me!!! Hug and Happy Thursday Luminous blesing. Ludy{@}~
Lovely capture, and the shadow is in the right position, so your camera is fine, Bravo!!
If you look further back on the left, those trees are casting their shadows to the left too. I think it's just where the sun was and perspectives. Very cool early spring photo!
Excellent and lovely capture, Jock!!! I like the trees, colors, light-shadows, and mood!!! Yes, coming spring!
I love the Bayou I bet some Aligator live there ? :) Keep you camera ready and better watch tornado Alerts!
It's just the swamp curse!! Take photo of it in Moonlight and see what happens!!! This is very nice Jocko. I really like the swamps, not the skeeters, but the swamp is a special place!!!
I think you discovered something here. It just might be a haunted camera. Excellent shot. Aloha
A fascinating capture of this wonderful looking swamp area! An excellent light and shadow play!!!
I throw in the towel ! ! ! Incredible for me . May be I'll stop drinking wine by now ;-))) EXCELLENT capture .....
Great capture with this trees and contrast with sun.. Hugs
I think you have a perfect shadow and in the right position !!! Excellent picture and nice mood in this forest :)
Great shadows Jock! The sun must have been quite low to get them that long :)
I doubt if it's anything with your camera, or more of the shadows would be bent. Nice spooky landscape.
I don't know, but it looks very cool! Don't know of anything bad that would happen if you are touched by a tree shadow, maybe you'd just feel cooler. lol q-: Lovely shot! (:
As the tree is bent so grows the shadow.
VEry cool Jock .You got me on the shadows
Cool and weird !!! love the pic :o)
As Rita :"If you look further back on the left, those trees are casting their shadows to the left too. I think it's just where the sun was and perspectives. Very cool early spring photo!"
A beautiful shot, Jock!! I am rarely sure of things. Sure know I love this one with beautiful shadows. Happy weekend for you and your family. Hugs. Di.
I believe that the effect of the parallel shades and one that is not it on the earth floor is due to that the first tree of the left has a slight inclination toward that side. It is an excellent and creative shot Jock....!!!
great pic
As Good Ole Boy says, it's just the perspective making the shadows appear to not be parallel. Beautiful shot, Jock!
A fantastic capture indeed. Fascinating shadows and light. Superb!
Awesome cool!!! Fantastic looking trees...cypress? Love the large bases and the shadows here!!
