Respect - it is a true confession - but on the other hand, if we take a look to the situation in the United States, we recongnize that there the half of people lives from one pay cheque to the other almost in a similary way - perhaps its really time to pick up arms for some regulations ;-)

I absolutely agree with you, Manfred. Also, when wealth is spread in such a way the many receieve almost nothing, but a very minute few receive most of it, a country is on its way to chronic destablement (Is that a word?) In other words, when the many have nothing to loss and everything to gain, it breeds revolution. I'm not advocating socialism or communism. I'm just saying that when everybody has something significant to lose if the current system of government falls, it isn't likely to fall for a very long time.

Im as a student face the same problems, the money I earn in my free time work (when Im not studying) is too less to live and too much to die. The payments and working conditions many employers offer today, have become so low, ashaming and insulting, that the German government had to reduce social welfare payments to force people into this exploitation. Freedom is in the existence of possibilities, but poverty is reducing these possibilities and chances and the beaurocratic actions that hinder self-employmend and restricting your actions to get out of a tough situation, are making "Liberty" completely a joke. The longer Im living in this country, the more I hate it. This so called "Democracy" is just the regulated exchange of an oligarchy mediating between the wealthy who have the economic and political power and themass of the people, who have to be kept in position. @kjer_99: Yeah. Poverty bears violence, even political violence sometimes. Against whom do you thing the discussed security laws are? Terrorists? Nah, theyre against the own people, which could start to fight for their rights for a human existence and a share of the profit made with the exploitaton of their labour..
