I met your photos as rusted cars in the desert so this harks to some photos of Frenchmen who arrived at a bar in Ohio on a trip to follow route 66 West. My father was in the office of the trailer park and he said there were photos there of old cars on route 66. I finally went over at his urging and asked the clerk about them. Pictures of that old black Mariah Citroen the flic drive in movies and some Volkswagens beetles as well, as a Simca. He just don't get it. Over and over he calls my attention to old cars. What if one had a Da vinci in it?
