During the '50, before President Kennedy committed the United States to a Moon landing, scientists like Wernher von Braun and illustrators like Chesley Bonestell, envisioned all the vehicles to complete such mission.

I remember seeing Bonestell's work when I was a kid back in the 50's. This brings back a lot of memories.
I saw the articles in my local library. They were on microfilm and grainy, but they were great! Your tribute to Bonestell is very well done.

I like! Very retro! I read a stroy, way back in grade-school, before they actual landed on the Moon. It had NASA shiping up a Lunar base in segments and hard impacting. Had kind of a "Army Corp." feel to it.
You've really captured Bonstell's stark simplicity and use of primaries. An excellent homage.
Bonestell set the pattern for modern now day sci-fi , by the way excellent job here!
