A beautifull land, and a pict that honour your Grandfather Dany ........
Excellent shot indeed! I love the serenity in this photo, the tranquility - definitely very symbolic of Ireland! Now if only I could get a glas of real Irish Guinness and sit in one of those boats............. Great shot Dan. xx
very pretty, so peaceful!
land of my grandfather as well, and grandmother. Someday I hope I can see it but for now, I'll be content looking at this gorgeous scene... magnificent photo of peace and contentment.
Super shot - beautiful scene!
Exactly the kind of weather one is expecting in Ireland ! Despite of the cloudy day, you made a great & moody picture, Danny ! Bravo !
The weather looks like the French Britanny's weather .... The mood is very well captured Have a happy St. Patrick's day !
The luck 'o the Irish upon ye me boy! Hava HSPD! And a killer scenic too, love the somber mood.
Great POV and mood, Danny. As my old Irish granny used to say, "The grass is so green because it never stops raining, ya wee begger ye..". I went back after 35 years, last year to an aunt's funeral. I met lots of cousins, and visited places I only vaguely remembered from the late 1950s. Not a lot had changed in the lovely Glens of Antrim. I am sure our church will be quite full tomorrow morning to celebrate ould Paddy's day ( even if he did come from Scotland ;o) ) Regards, John.
Great mood and colours
