Description
This is the last of the lava series from my solo walk. That red lava farthest right reminds me of a horse doesn't it? On my return back to the parking area, there were a couple far ahead of me. Eventually I lost site of them. After reaching my truck and resting about 30 minutes, I could see that couple far off in the distance. They almost over shot their marker but made it safely back. Hope you enjoyed this little series. Aloha

yes, did look like a horse with some imagination added...nice pic
our posts today are both very hot and I can avoid walking on either. I have enjoyed immensely your series on lava and look forward to your next project
I see the horse! running quickly trying to get away from the lava L I see his mane flowing in the breeze! Run Horsey RUN!!!! coughs ummmm Great Shot Sharky! I know I have enjoyed your "series" ..and I was reading the links you put in bout the dangers. Pretty hefty stuff there ... I'm glad you were able to have your walk and return home unscathed! (hey where is the rating thang?)
excellent impression of structure and color of lava! lg. lordlotte
You have done very challenging job!
Thanks you carefull up there, you always coming back in one piece so we can see your dangerous journey!
I see the horse too!!! Actually I see two horses, but I haven't take my coffee yet. lol Great capture Errol!!! Bravo!!!
I can see the horse's head in there; just as long as it doesn't start galloping towards you.....
Impressive forms and textures, the red lava seem so dangerous
Wellll... at first I saw a bear rug... then the horse's head and mane... lol Funny how the lava is like clouds, you can imagine things in both but one is amorphous and the other a solid. Thanks for this recent series!
wow it does look like a horse, what an amazing photo for sure.
A fun series. I see a horse but I think it is a different one from yours. Aloha!
wonderful series this time. :-) good lava shots!
A horse you say - hmmmm - You've been spending a little bit too much time out in the lava fields me thinks - I'm only joking :D I do enjoy your lava images as I have said before - thanks for sharing them :)
Nice shots Errol. Still glad you keep making it out without getting "scorched". Aloha
I see a beautiful horse, Errol. Superb series, most enjoyable to see things I will probably never see for my self. Aloha. Diane.
Holy cow, a solo walk, sounds to me like whoever does that, needs to pay attention quite a lot! As usual pretty interesting shot, I can almost see the head of a snake eating something. Very cool shot, and look after yourself!!!
Oh I see it now! With even a flowing mane! How cool! Very well seen and taken!
Oh yes, so beautiful picture and very nice color and composition !! :)
I see the hores and the middle one looks like a snake head. I like these lava shorts. Thinking you can go to the gallerys with them and may display some of them. May sell for all the people that go to your state
Thank goodness this lava doesn't run as fast as a horsey or you could be in serious trouble...When you start to see faces in the lava it's time to head back....Aloha~
I'm with punaguy on this one time to head home when the faces appear!!! LOL!!!!! too much heat... need that cool water... Aloha...
The texture is very like a mane and neck. Did you ever find out about the dog? BJ
