Do any of you ever feel like you're round living in a square world?
I decided to take a break and do something abstract, simple and easy for a change.

Actually, I feel like the square head living in a round world, lol. Excellent scene and render.
Actually I did try using DOF, but, with IBL on, the render time would be impossible. I didn't want to spend 2 weeks rendering a simple image. (note to Bryce makers: some of the rendering algorithms really need to be reworked).

That is not abstract. Abstract means having no meaning. Your image has meaning, thus it is not abstract.
